Knitting has been my favorite pastime lately. I was taught to knit by an exchange student from the Philippines when I was eight years old, and I still remember it and love it. This year I have really challenged myself, and have made a baby sweater, convertible mittens, and some hats. It is so satisfying to work so hard at something, then to be able to admire the beauty of your creation. It is one of the best things in the world. To take pride in your work. So...my next knitting challenge, is a sweater for me, with a bow knitted into it, like the original Elsa Schiaparelli sweater of the 20th century.

Lyndie Dourthe

A designer I appreciate. She described her design like this,

"I create, I classify, I number and organize my own specimens: botany, animals, insects, human anatomy, and other curiosities which are the inspiration of the moment....I present them in small painted boxes, under glass or globe."

"Starting now" - Ingrid Michaelson

Some great photos from the photo booth at my wedding. Personalities came out, and made a show for the night. What a great favor for a wedding. Photo booths are a "do" for weddings. I love these.
